Workshop
Visual Storytelling
Create compelling and persuasive presentations and visuals that communicate the story of your message with clarity and impact.
About This Program
If creating or delivering presentations is part of your role’s responsibilities, the know-how to communicate complex messages simply while engaging your audience is essential for your success and advancement. Through visual storytelling, we can complement voiceovers and presentation skills. As ‘they’ say, a picture is worth a thousand words, and it can make the very difference between inspiring an audience and making a sale or distancing your audience and appearing inexperienced. This workshop will enhance your abilities to structure, design, and create engaging presentations.
What This Program Covers
This interactive workshop is designed to establish and enhance your ability to structure, design, and create engaging presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint, Apple Keynote, Google Slides, or other presentation tools.
Outstanding presentations require three key components: appealing content, engaging story, and powerful delivery. This program will help you learn the 5-step process of creating an effective and influential presentation and give you essential guidelines to produce visually appealing and well-structured content.
The 5-step Presentation Crafting process: 1. Identify your subject; 2. Investigate your audience using the Empathy Map; 3. Define your message or call-to-action; 4. Structure your presentation using the 4-Mat Model; 5. Identify visual aids to support your presentation using Content Storyboarding.
We created this workshop based on Visual Design Theory and elements of Story Structure. Through a blend of teaching and live facilitation exercises, you will be able to practice the material you learn actively.
